Hi, my name is Stacey. I’m so glad you are here. Before we meet, I want to tell you a little about who I am and why I become a therapist.
I grew up in a family that loved hard and fought fiercely. I remember wishing there was someone who could help us work through our explosive fights and teach us better ways to resolve issues. Someone who would see our strengths, harness them, and show us how to be a healthier and happier family unit. And so I worked hard to become that person for other families.
My therapeutic approach is easy-going and engaging, using solution-focused and strength-based strategies to help manage life challenges. With warmth and curiosity, I will offer an attentive ear, humor, experience, and my unique therapeutic perspective to help work though the problems at hand.
I earned my Master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, Bachelor’s degree from Biola University in La Mirada, California, and completed Post-Graduate training in Play Therapy and Expressive Therapy through the University of Mississippi. I am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association, and belong to the Chagrin Falls Chamber of Commerce. I am an Independently Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Ohio.
In my free time, I love good books, true-crime podcasts, strong coffee, live music, and hiking in the MetroParks with my husband of 16 years, our three rowdy children, and two yappy dogs.
I’m looking forward to meeting you soon,
